Trump has now slowly entered a period of authoritarianism, actions involving the sending of the National Guard to Los Angeles without the consent of the State Governor Gavin Newsom. We are entering a dangerous time and need a different route.
Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler share some notable similarities in political style and rhetoric and this can be seen as very obvious in some eyes. Both employed populist appeals to disenfranchised citizens and manipulate and brainwash individuals, they both used nationalist slogans to promote a return to past greatness and scapegoated minority groups to unify their base with immigrants and Muslims in Trump's case and Jews in Hitler's. They effectively used mass rallies and media in this case Hitler used radio while Trump used social media to build a strong personal following and both exhibited authoritarian tendencies including attacks on the press and political institutions this is evident especially with the absolute immoral activity that Trump conducted on the Harvard Institution this year. Each cultivated a cult of personality demanding loyalty from supporters and portraying themselves as the sole solution to national decline once again use of manipulation. People need to see the similarities and be wary of what could happen if the LA riots continue. We need to be wary. Similarities are terrifying and need to be taken to account. Trump is supporting the genocide in Gaza by supporting Israel. The Israeli people have already gone through so much during the holocaust during WW2 so why does Netanyahu's government have to be committing a genocide on the Muslim faith when they have suffered the same fate? If Trump delves deeper into his support for Israel it will lead to the same devastating consequences, the mass cleansing of ethnic Muslims. There is simply no difference between Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler.
